The unit shown above was designed for a Southern California LPG plant to raise a process gas stream from 485 to 1308 F using 1850 F flue gas. Constructed of type 347H stainless steel using longitudinal finned pipes, the unit was designed for direct installation in an existing stack opening. Hydrostatic testing using chloride free water was performed at 3290 PSI (227 BAR).
