In the foreground above is a vertical shellside condenser fabricated for a Midwest chemical plant. All materials wetted by shellside flow are type 304L stainless steel. HTRI software was used for thermal and hydraulic design and tube vibration analysis.

For the various process condensing applications we offer a variety of exchanger and coolant options. In addition to the common simple isothermal process, significant desuperheating and subcooling duties are zoned in a single shell for reduced capital and maintenance costs. For low pressure drop applications and/or to eliminate tube vibration risks we offer expertise in "no tubes in window" (NTIW) and disc and donut (DD) shellside baffling.
