Wrapped Core Turbulators

Wrapped core turbulators are typically used for low flow applications. A central core increases velocity and heat transfer coefficient by reducing flow area. A wire or tubular helical wrapping promotes swirl flow for increased efficiency in laminar and transitional flow regimes. Wrapped core turbulators are typically used in double pipe (pipe in pipe) exchangers but can used in other equipment types and are available in all weldable materials.
